Taking part in the General Assenbly of ISTMA in Germany

One of the members of the Japan Die & Mold Industry　Association(JaDMA)’s international committee attended the General Assembly of ISTMA as an observer.  The meeting was held in the city of Aachen(Germany) on November 12.

ISTMA stands for The International Special tooling & Machinig Association. It is the international association which consists of 19 special tooling　and machining Association throughout the world. Its member countries are Argentia, United States of America, Canada, Brazil, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden and Turkey(alphabetical order).

ISTMA’s misson is to help national industry associations(like JaDMA) and their member companies achieve businesssuccess in the global economy through advocacy, networking, information, programs and services.

It is getting more and more important to create cooperative relationship with die and mold associations in the world to keep high international evaluation of the Japanese die and mold technology.
